TPOT Education – General Training Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses, workshops, online programmes, and in-person events delivered by TPOT Education ("TPOT", "we", "our", or "us"). By booking or participating in our training, you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. All training places are subject to availability and secured only once full payment is received.

1.2. Payments must be made in advance via the TPOT website or invoice as specified.

1.3. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

2. Cancellations and Transfers

2.1. By the participant:

• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date of an in-person training will be refunded, minus a £25 admin fee.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable.

Online and on-demand courses are non-refundable.

• Transfer requests to an alternative course date may be considered at our discretion and subject to availability. A transfer fee may apply.

 

2.2. By TPOT:

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future date.
• TPOT is not liable for any costs incurred due to cancellation (e.g. travel or accommodation expenses).

 

3. Course Access and Materials

3.1. Online training content is provided for individual use only and must not be shared or redistributed.

3.2. All training materials are the intellectual property of TPOT and are protected by copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

3.3. Access to online content is granted for a limited time (typically 6 months unless otherwise stated) and may be subject to updates.

 

4. Attendance and Certification

4.1. Full attendance and participation are required to receive certification or a statement of completion (where applicable).

4.2. TPOT reserves the right to withhold certification where minimum standards of attendance, engagement, or conduct are not met.

 

5. Participant Conduct

5.1. We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards facilitators and fellow learners.

5.2. TPOT reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or unsafe, without refund.

 

6. Accessibility and Support

6.1. We are committed to making training accessible. Please notify us in advance of any learning or access needs so reasonable adjustments can be made.

6.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that any technology required for online training (e.g. stable internet connection, camera/mic access) is available.

 

7. Liability

7.1. TPOT accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property arising from participation in our courses, except where caused by our proven negligence.

7.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are appropriately insured for travel and participation (where applicable).

 

8. Data Protection

8.1. Any personal data provided during booking or participation will be handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and UK GDPR regulations.

8.2. By booking, you consent to us storing and processing your information for the purposes of course administration and communication.

 

9. Changes to Terms

9.1. TPOT reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
